Job summary

Global Partners LP, with its Alltown Fresh brand, is seeking a Dishwasher in Wells River, VT to operate the dishwasher and support the kitchen team. You will wash dishes, assist during peak times, and maintain a sanitary workspace.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible with early shifts, weekends, or holidays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; compensation will reflect experience.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays.
• Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, grasping firmly, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow directions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher.
• Wash all dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items by hand when necessary.
• Perform all cleaning assignments as needed.
• Will empty trash as needed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Provides assistance to Chef and other kitchen staff during peak times as needed.
• Performs opening and closing side work.
• Cleans up spills/broken glass immediately.
• Frequently carries equipment/plates/food up a single set of stairs.
