Job summary

Oakmont Senior Living is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support the dining team at Santiana, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group in California. You will ensure dishes are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stored, while upholding our standards of care and resident comfort.

Shifts are available as full-time or part-time with variable hours; pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a kitchen or dishwashing setting preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and verbal communication with teammates and residents.
• Criminal background check and health screening required, including TB tests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to kitchen and return sanitized dishes to storage.
• Assist with kitchen break-down and general cleanup of dish room and dining areas.
• Respond to resident concerns and inquiries professionally.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperative interactions with staff.
