Job summary

The Jekyll Island Convention Center is looking for a part-time Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness of china, glassware, and utensils in a fast-paced kitchen. You will operate both machine and manual cleaning methods and help keep the dishwashing area safe and sanitary.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading the dish machine, maintaining station cleanliness, and assisting with basic kitchen duties as needed. Reliable transportation and flexibility are required.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing & sanitation: Sort, rinse, and rack dirty dishes, glassware, tableware and utensils; wash pots and pans by hand.
• Station maintenance & setup: Set up and break down the dishwashing area; monitor temps and adjust as needed.
• Kitchen upkeep & safety: Sweep/mop floors; remove trash; perform other kitchen utility duties as assigned.
