Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain a safe, sanitized dish area for staff and guests. Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing all ware, keeping the dish room clean, and supporting kitchen tasks as needed.

Openings are for full-time or part-time schedules. Candidates should be 18+, carry a Food Handler's Card where applicable, and demonstrate strong customer-service etiquette in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Must possess a current Food Handler's Card, where applicable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learns about all chemicals used and how to use them properly.
• Works around warm to very warm kitchen temperatures.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Provide assistance to prep cook and kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load or unload trucks delivering food or supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
