Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain a safe, sanitary dish area and support staff in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The role involves washing ware, keeping the dish room organized, and upholding cleanliness standards throughout shifts.

Requirements include being 18 or older, having a Food Handler’s Card where applicable, and strong communication with teammates. Training is provided, and hours may be full-time or part-time with benefits for qualifying team members.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and learn to use them properly.
• Ability to work around various temperatures and in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher and washes dishes, sweeps and mops floors, cleans and maintains equipment, and sanitizes utensils.
• Keeps the dish area clean and organized; maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Cleans food preparation areas, facilities, and equipment; follows sanitation and safety procedures.
• Places clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas; empties and cleans trash receptacles.
• Assists prep cooks and other kitchen staff during peak times and loads/unloads food or supplies as needed.
• Performs opening, closing, and side work tasks; cleans spills or broken glassware immediately.
