Job summary

Honest Hospitality Talent is seeking a dedicated Steward/Dishwasher to support our culinary team in Henderson, NV. This role focuses on keeping all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces clean and compliant with health standards to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

As part of our team, you will assist with dishwashing, sanitation, and coordinating with leadership to maintain an organized kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently
• Remove food waste and debris from dishes prior to washing
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and sanitation products
• Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain waste disposal areas
• Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors and workspaces throughout service and at closing
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing deliveries as directed
• Support kitchen staff with cleaning projects and operational needs as assigned
• Follow opening and closing procedures for stewarding operations
• Communicate equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or sanitation concerns to Leadership promptly
• Adhere to all sanitation, food safety, and health department regulations
