Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Irvine is seeking a dishwashing associate to maintain a clean kitchen and support-store operations. You will wash and sanitize dishes, help with deliveries, and ensure product rotation while providing courteous service to customers and Team Members.

Responsibilities include maintaining floors and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards, and working flexible hours including nights and weekends. No prior retail experience required and a strong work ethic is valued.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must follow health and safety regulations and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows and complies with procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment to standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
