Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed is hiring for full-time and part-time dishwasher positions in Moscow, ID, near the University of Idaho. The role maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen areas in sanitary order and supports food service operations.

Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour with training provided. Shifts include 11:30am–3:30pm (Mon–Fri) or 4:00pm–8:00pm (Sun–Thu). Online applications are accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior experience is preferred, but not required. Willing to train!

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures and maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and maintains sanitation.
• Keeps dish area in compliance with safety standards and cleans floors and surfaces.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas and helps load/unload.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
