Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes by hand or in racks; uses dishwashing machine where assigned, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using burnishing methods; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains temperatures and chemical levels per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to uphold sanitation.
• Cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash to designated containers and steam cleans or hoses cans.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; assists with loading/unloading.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
