Job summary

Velveteen Plum, Wausau's first rooftop restaurant and cocktail lounge, is hiring a dishwasher to support the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment. You will wash and sanitize dishes, keep areas clean, and assist with stocking as needed. On-the-job training provided; prior experience is not required.

We value teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays are expected to accommodate a busy dining room schedule.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure cleaned items are properly stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area, sinks, and surrounding workstations.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste following sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in kitchen cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping floors, and wiping surfaces.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
• Assist with receiving and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and support the kitchen team.
• Perform additional tasks as instructed by management.
• Help fellow team members with any tasks needed.
