Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a hard-working Steward for Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee to support dishwashing, maintain a clean kitchen, and help ensure efficient operations during service. You will wash dishes, manage equipment, and assist with general cleaning tasks while upholding safety standards and a positive guest experience.

The role offers competitive pay and benefits, with a schedule that includes afternoon to late-evening hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to tolerate varied working conditions.
• Availability to work between 3 p.m. and 12 a.m. with start times around 3–4 p.m.
• Prior hospitality, cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain dish machine to standards, efficiently processing dishes and utensils.
• Organize clean dishes, unload, stack, and store them in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish area and kitchen, including garbage disposal and general cleaning.
• Ensure floor safety by sweeping, mopping, drying, and transporting soiled ware to designated areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, wipe countertops, restock supplies, and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for efficient service and assist with additional duties.
