Job summary

THE ONE GROUP seeks a dedicated Dishwasher for its Benihana location in Cupertino. You will support the BOH team, keeping dishes, glassware, and utensils clean while maintaining sanitation throughout the kitchen. This hands-on role is essential to smooth dining operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans efficiently.
• Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Operate dishwashing machines and manage chemical supplies.
• Assist with trash/recycling and waste disposal.
• Support BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Assist with basic prep work and food handling as needed.
• Execute tasks from Chefs and Kitchen Leadership with professionalism.
