Job summary

Margaritaville Restaurants in Bloomington, MN is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support the kitchen by cleaning dishes, glassware, pots, and utensils and maintaining a sanitary work environment. The role requires the ability to work quickly in a busy setting while following sanitation guidelines and safety procedures.

You will assist in stocking, cleaning, and closing stations, help kitchen staff with prep, and ensure items are cleaned and organized for timely service.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of dishwashing experience preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
• Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good judgment and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment for all staff and guests.
• Scrapes, racks, and stacks glassware/plate ware/silverware in dishwasher.
• Sweeps, mops, and washes pots, dishes, etc. with hand or dish equipment and cooler detailing.
• Removes waste, garbage, and recyclables from kitchen area to appropriate receptacles.
• Stocks all glassware/plate ware/silverware as cleaned.
• Maintains dishwashing procedures and cleaning schedule for dish machine.
• Maintains a clean workstation and equipment appearances and assists in overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Assists in stocking, cleaning, and closing of all stations as directed.
• Restocks and breaks down workstation at shift end.
• Assists kitchen staff with prep work and cross-trains on prep stations.
