Qualifications

• Six months to one year of dishwashing experience preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts.
• Ability to complete a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good judgment and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment for staff and guests.
• Scrape, rack, and stack glassware, dishware, and silverware in the dishwasher.
• Sweep, mop, and wash pots and dishes; assist in cooler detailing.
• Remove waste and recyclables from the kitchen to proper receptacles.
• Restock glassware and dishware as cleaned; follow cleaning schedules.
• Assist in stocking, cleaning, and closing of stations; broken down workstations after shift.
• Support kitchen staff with prep work and cross-train on prep stations.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation practices; report accidents to management.
