The ONE GROUP is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher for Benihana in Bethesda to keep dishware, utensils, and cookware clean and stocked. You will support the kitchen team, maintain sanitation, and ensure smooth service in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities include operating dishwashing equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and following health and safety standards while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dishwasher or kitchen support role preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans efficiently and consistently.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing areas and storage spaces.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper chemicals.
• Assist with trash/recycling and waste disposal.
• Keep floors and workspaces clean and hazard-free.
• Store kitchen tools and equipment properly.
• Work with BOH team to keep service running smoothly.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Assist with basic prep work and food handling as needed.
• Execute tasks from Chefs and Kitchen Leadership with professionalism.
