Job summary

True Food Kitchen is seeking a dedicated dishwashing team member to join our kitchen in Glen Burnie, MD. You will operate the dish machine, maintain cleanliness in the dish area, and assist with setup and restocking to keep service smooth and efficient.

Flexibility with shifts is valued as we support a fast-paced restaurant. Prior experience is helpful, and a strong emphasis is placed on hygiene, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience is beneficial.
• Able to work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment.
• You’re comfortable standing for long periods of time.
• You are a hard working and clean person.

Responsibilities

• Washing and catching dishes/silverware through dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature/chemical level to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dish room, rest rooms, and food preparations areas clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware/plateware for dining room and kitchen.
• Monitor linen and trash containers and empty when appropriate.
• Understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety measures.
• Washing metal pots and pans through 3 compartment sink by hand.
• Washing and lifting glass racks with glass washer.
• Overall cleanliness of kitchen (sweeping, mopping, breaking down boxes, removal of trash, and more).
• Receiving deliveries and restocking shelves.
• Flexible during shift to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed.
