Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and a service-minded attitude.
• Ability to stand for 10 hours.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Good hearing for safety and clear communication.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Requires ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning solutions.
• Must possess food safety certification or any required state food/alcohol certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled shifts and follow policy and procedure.
• Maintain clean and sanitary restrooms at all times.
• Maintain a pleasant and friendly attitude.
• Punch in, sign in and report to the General Manager on time.
• Perform opening set up, running side work and closing duties.
• Maintain dish area safety and sanitation.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
• Clean and maintain floors according to cleaning standards during shifts.
• Sweep parking lots, back dock, and kitchen frequently.
• Dispose of trash and debris.
• Keep a clean and professional appearance at all times.
• Must pass general information and departmental tests with a grade of 90% or higher.
• Perform job functions with accordance to performance standards.
• Work with teamwork in mind.
