Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to perform dishwashing duties and maintain kitchen cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. You will handle washing, sanitizing, and organizing wares, support deliveries, and assist with inventory and merchandising while delivering courteous service to customers and teammates.

The role requires on-site work with standard store hours, a focus on health and safety, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains cleanliness standards.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing; reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
