Job summary

Terrain Café, part of the URBN family, is seeking a dependable Dishwasher in Wayland, MA to keep our back-of-house running smoothly. This role is physical, fast-paced, and focused on cleanliness and organization to support the kitchen team.

Responsibilities include operating dish machines, sanitizing items, storing dishware, and assisting with deliveries and prep. Flexibility for mornings/evenings/weekends is preferred; lifting up to 50+ lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50+ lbs in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Able to stand, bend, reach and perform repetitive tasks.
• Comfortable in hot, wet and loud environments.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Dependable, punctual and a true team player.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish machines and sanitize dishes, tools, and equipment.
• Wash and organize dishware; store in designated locations.
• Handle dishes to avoid breakage and monitor machine performance.
• Maintain cleanliness in dish pit, floors, prep stations, and trash areas.
• Assist with deliveries, prep work, and general maintenance.
• Stay productive during slower periods with high cleanliness standards.
