Job summary

Rusty Pelican Tampa is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to maintain our high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen. You will wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, and cooking equipment, supporting chefs and servers during service.

This role requires reliability, the ability to stand for long shifts, and a willingness to learn. Weekend and holiday shifts are required; benefits include paid time off, employee meals, and growth opportunities within the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Operate and troubleshoot dishwashing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen by cleaning counters and floors.
• Assist with basic food prep or plating during peak times as needed.
• Follow health and safety standards and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
