Job summary

Elements Restaurant in Logan, UT is seeking a part-time dishwasher/kitchen assistant to support our busy dining room and banquets. You will operate the dish machine, wash glasses and pots, and help keep the kitchen clean and organized throughout shifts.

We value a strong work ethic, teamwork, and reliability. Expect standing for long periods, varied schedules including nights and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Training provided. Immediate openings.

Responsibilities

• Operate established guidelines to correctly use and maintain the dish machine; wash glasses and dishes.
• Wash pots and pans in the designated area.
• Keep the kitchen neat and clean; sweep, mop, and clean spills.
• Empty trash and sanitize containers after use; replace bags.
• Follow MSDS protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist with plating banquet events and other kitchen duties as assigned.

Job Description

What you will be doing

• Use established guidelines to correctively utilize and maintain dish machine. Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
• Ensure that all cleaning is performed that is required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; this includes sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans. Make sure they are sprayed and sanitized after each use. Place new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
