Newk’s Eatery in Five Points South seeks a Dishwasher & Dining Room Attendant to keep our kitchen clean and our dining room welcoming. You’ll support both kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring dishes, utensils, and tables are spotless and ready for guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and operating efficiently throughout each shift.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain clean waste areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen, dining room, and service areas.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, beverage stations, and guest touch points.
• Restock dining room supplies, beverages, condiments, napkins, and utensils.
• Maintain clean and fully stocked restrooms.
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequently bend, lift, reach, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Work safely around water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment

• Work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
