Job summary

Newk’s Eatery in College Station, TX is seeking a Dishwasher & Dining Room Attendant. You’ll help keep the restaurant clean, organized, and guest-ready while supporting the dining room and kitchen teams.

No experience? No problem. We offer paid training, flexible scheduling to fit school or family, competitive hourly pay, and opportunities to grow into kitchen or leadership roles in a friendly, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dish area clean, organized, and operating efficiently throughout each shift
• Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain clean waste areas
• Sweep and mop kitchen, dining room, and service areas
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, beverage stations, and guest touch points
• Restock dining room supplies, beverages, condiments, napkins, and utensils
• Maintain clean and fully stocked restrooms
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed
• Support kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy periods
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards

What You’ll Do

As a Dishwasher & Dining Room Attendant, you’ll help keep every part of the restaurant clean, organized, and ready to serve our guests.

Responsibilities include:

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods

Frequently bend, lift, reach, and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

Work safely around water, cleaning chemicals, and kitchen equipment

Work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
