Job summary

Southern Tier is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to help maintain cleanliness and sanitation in our kitchen. You will clean pots, pans, glassware, and utensils by hand or with dishwashers, and ensure proper storage of all cleaned items in accordance with safety practices.

You will also assist with stocking stations, removing trash, and supporting food prep as needed. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a busy, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions and maintain cleanliness in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Strong teamwork and communication with kitchen staff.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean all wares including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Correctly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas following all food safety practices.
• Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Clean and empty trash and recycling receptacles.
• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks.
• May assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving.
