White Lodging’s Boilerhouse Prime on Purdue University’s campus in West Lafayette seeks a Dishwasher to help maintain a clean, efficient kitchen, support the culinary team, and ensure a safe work environment.

This entry-level role requires no prior experience but emphasizes a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to stand and move quickly for long periods. You’ll contribute to a top-tier dining operation on campus with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and the kitchen staff.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• No prior experience required, but a strong desire to work hard is essential.
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop floors, wash worktables, and clean walls of refrigerators and other assigned equipment using designated chemicals.
• Ensure that the floor and work surfaces are kept free of trash, water, etc. to prevent potential accidents.
• Scrape food from dirty dishes, pots, and pans and wash by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Sort silverware before cleaning and properly load and unload the dishwasher.
• Sort and store all clean china, glass, silver, chafers, coffee pots, pitchers, display pieces, and platters using proper procedures.
• Assist with unloading product from supply trucks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
