Job summary

Domino in State College, PA, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep our kitchen clean and efficient. You’ll collect soiled dishes, sanitize equipment, and support both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

This fast-paced role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to stand 8–10 hours and lift up to 30 pounds. On-the-job training is provided; late-night and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or walk for extended shifts (8–10 hours) and lift at least 30 pounds regularly.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled dishes, pans, utensils, and cookware and wash them using proper cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
• Ensure all washed items are dried and stored properly for easy access by kitchen staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish pit area and proper storage of cleaning chemicals.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances and equipment.
• Sweep and mop floors in the kitchen and dish pit areas.
• Empty trash and rinse garbage cans to maintain sanitation.
• Assist with additional tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Ensure dining area and kitchen line are set up at opening, during service, and at closing.
• Comply with all food safety regulations at all times.
• Assist during the closing process.
