Job summary

Domino's in State College is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to keep our kitchen running smoothly. You will collect and wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and support both kitchen and front-of-house teams in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to stand for long shifts, follow food safety rules, and work well with others to ensure clean, organized dish pits and timely service.

Late-night and weekend availability is preferred to help cover busy periods.

Qualifications

• No prior dishwashing experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must follow food safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled dishes, pans, utensils, and cookware from the kitchen and wash them thoroughly using proper cleaning procedures and food safety standards
• Ensure all washed items are properly dried and stored in their designated locations for easy access by kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dish pit area at all times, including proper storage of cleaning chemicals
• Clean and sanitize kitchen appliances and equipment, including ovens, prep tables, and other cooking surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the kitchen and dish pit areas, paying special attention to spills and hazards
• Empty trash receptacles and rinse garbage cans regularly to maintain sanitation standards
• Support other team members by assisting with additional tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
• Ensure the dining area and kitchen line are properly set up at opening, during service, and at closing
• Maintain compliance with all food safety regulations and procedures at all times
• Assist throughout the closing process
