Job summary

THE PARK in West Palm Beach is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to ensure cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, utensils, and cookware. You will operate dish machines and assist with opening/closing duties to support a smooth kitchen routine.

The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, with growth potential and benefits including health insurance and 401k matching.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Possess a basic understanding of health standards as they apply to the service industry.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout shift.
• Maintain kitchen area cleanliness; sweeps, mops, removes debris from floor, etc.
• Perform assigned prep work, opening/closing duties, beautification duties.
• Prepares and maintains dish machine at opening, during business hours, and at closing.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Close the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assists others in closing the kitchen.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
• Display a can-do attitude by assisting other teammates throughout the restaurant.
