Job summary

Moxy Washington, DC Downtown is hiring for a full-time dishwasher to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in a luxury hotel setting. You will wash dishes, glassware, pots and utensils, maintain orderly work areas, and contribute to a memorable guest dining experience with a positive, energetic attitude.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, strong English communication, and flexibility to work mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills in reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a part-time morning schedule.
• Flexible work schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization, follow food safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a luxury hotel setting is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Must be able to work a part time morning schedule
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexible work schedulerequired for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Have excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently

$18.00 per hour
