Job summary

Bay Creek Resort & Club is seeking a part-time dishwasher to join our hospitality team in Cape Charles, VA. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced dining environment and help maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization.

Pay range is $12.77 to $13.00 per hour. Responsibilities include washing dishes, stocking, cleaning the kitchen, and following safety practices. Regular attendance is required; prior restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and stocks dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains kitchen cleanliness including dry storage and walk-in cooler; sweeps and mops.
• Empties trash and disposes of garbage.
• Daily cleaning of dry storage, shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust.
• Stores dishes and wares properly.
• Follows safe work practices.
• Wash and sanitize dishes; clean kitchen after close.
• Assists with additional duties as required.

Pay Range: $12.77 to $13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleans, sanitizes and properly stocks of all dishes, pots, pans, flatware and glassware.
• Maintains cleanliness of entire kitchen including dry storage and walk-in cooler, sweeping & mopping.
• Empties the kitchen trash receptacles and properly disposes of garbage.
• Performs daily cleaning to include dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods and exhaust system.
• Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Clean, wash and sanitize all dishes, clean kitchen after close.
• Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have experience working infast paced restaurant experience.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
