Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a diligent dishroom attendant to support our kitchen operations. The role focuses on cleaning, transporting, and storing china, glassware, and silverware, while maintaining cleanliness in dish areas and back dock.

Key responsibilities include operating dish machines, breaking down and cleaning equipment, and assisting teammates to maintain smooth service during peak hours. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all dishroom, kitchen aisle, and dock areas.
• Break down trays, operate dish machines, wash dishware, and sort/store china, glass, and silver.
• Empty and clean trashcans and dumpster areas.
• Clean dock area and dumpster thoroughly.
• Disassemble dish machine and clean interior and exterior.
• Clean all breakdown tables and tile walls/baseboards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and hotel standards in all tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• 1. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dishroom, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
• 2. Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.
• 3. Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
• 4. Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster.
• 5. Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• 6. Clean all breakdown tables.
• 7. Clean tile walls and baseboards.
• 8. Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
