The Feinstein Group is seeking a motivated Dishwasher in the Town of Florida, NY. Your role will involve maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen equipment and contributing to a friendly atmosphere. This part-time position is essential for a fine dining experience.

You will work Friday to Sunday from 3 PM until close, ensuring all utensils and serviceware are cleaned and organized. Prior experience in food service is a plus, along with organizational and lifting skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, and trays, and polish silver.
• Segregate and remove trash into designated containers.
• Sweeping and mopping floors; washing worktables and surfaces.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Maintain organized temperature logs and storage areas.
• Assist cooks with food preparation and storage.

Job description

We are looking for a motivated Dishwasher to join our team! You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by transporting and cleaning cooking utensils and other serviceware, as well as assist in maintaining clean work areas and restaurant equipment.

You are great at managing multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment. With special attention to the details, you care about performing quality work and overall contributing to a friendly and productive team atmosphere.

The hours we are looking for would be Friday, Saturday, Sunday 3PM-Close (around 11:30 PM).

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, and trays and polish silver
• Segregate and remove trash and place it in the designated containers
• Sweep and mop floors; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surface areas
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
• Maintain temperature logs; keep walk-in cooler/freezer organized
• Helpline cooks properly prep, store, and date food

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
