Job summary

Walters Hospitality in Texas is seeking a hardworking dishwasher to support our events team. You will help load, run, and maintain the cleanliness of dishware and the kitchen during weddings and celebrations.

This part-time role requires availability on weekends and evenings, the ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and a valid Texas Food Handler license. A background check is also required.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with comparable responsibilities preferred.
• Education: Applicable Work History and Food Handlers license required in Texas.
• Physical: Able to lift 30 lbs frequently, stand/walk 8-12 hours.
• Other: Submit to a background check, must be 18 years old, have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Working as a Dishwasher during events.
• Collect used kitchenware, china, and glassware and load and unload the dishwasher. Hand wash items as necessary.
• Store cleaned kitchenware, china, and glassware appropriately.
• Ensure there are enough cleaned dishes at all times especially during peak service time.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area including the floors.
• Ensure compliance HACCP within the kitchen areas.
• Exhibiting a teamwork atmosphere.
• Maintain a flexible schedule and the ability to work a variety of nights/weekends.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Part-Time: Weekends and Evenings when events take place
  • Must be available and willing to work weekends, holidays, late nights
• Hourly: $17-$19 per hour
• 401k with 4% Match
