At Walk‑On’s, dishwashers are the essential backbone that keeps the kitchen running smoothly. Your role ensures that plates, glasses, and cookware are clean and ready, allowing the front‑of‑house team to focus on delivering great service.
What You’ll Do
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and cookware.
- Maintain a spotless dish room – empty trash, mop floors, clean cans, and keep items in order.
- Set up and break down dish machines daily, ensuring safe and proper operation.
- Pre‑soak, scrub, and sanitize pots, pans, silverware, and more so nothing leaves your station dirty.
- Monitor water temperatures and cleaning standards to guarantee guest safety and food quality.
- Assist teammates during busy shifts, staying flexible and maintaining momentum.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
- Take pride in your work, knowing your effort keeps guests satisfied even if unnoticed.
What It Takes
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working around wet floors, high heat, and loud noise.
- Detail‑oriented, keeping areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitizing practices.
- Positive, team‑first mindset with pride in a championship‑ready kitchen.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
