Job summary

Weatherly Inn in Tacoma, WA seeks a dependable dishwasher to support our Food Service team. You will wash and organize dishware, assist with meal prep and snacks, and help maintain a clean kitchen environment for residents.

We offer full-time scheduling (30+ hours/week) with a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, and PTO. GED or HS diploma and a Food Handlers cert are needed within 14 days of start.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in dishwashing or similar role preferred.
• Food Handlers certification required (within 14 days).
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and store all dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Assist with meal prep, salads, catering items, and snacks.
• Bus tables in emergencies.
• Wash pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dish room; follow daily cleaning schedules.
• Report injuries and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and store all dishes, glassware, and utensils

• Maintain a clean and organized dish room; follow daily cleaning schedules

• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs and push 250 lbs in wheelchair or cart
