Job summary

Happy Valley Casino in State College, PA, is seeking a dependable Dishwasher to support kitchen operations and maintain sanitation standards across food service areas. You will report to the Sous Chef and help keep the dishwashing workflow efficient while contributing to a clean, safe, and guest-friendly environment.

The role requires reliability, ability to work in a fast-paced setting, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing, janitorial, or food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and perform repetitive motions for 6–8+ hours per shift.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in dishwashing and kitchen areas.
• Operating and maintaining dishwashing equipment.
• Removing trash and recycling and ensuring waste is disposed of properly.
• Assisting with basic cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining kitchen floors.
• Stocking clean dishes, utensils, and supplies in designated storage areas.
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Supporting kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Promoting positive guest interactions and contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

We are looking for a dependable Dishwasher to join the team at Happy Valley Casino. This position plays a key role in supporting kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the food service areas. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and takes pride in contributing to a clean, safe, and productive work environment while supporting the culinary team.

This position will report directly to the Sous Chef and will be responsible for:
