Job summary

Happy Valley Casino is seeking a Cook for Lucky Break, our quick-service dining outlet in State College, PA. The successful candidate will prepare fresh, high-quality food with speed and accuracy, while upholding cleanliness and safety standards.

The role reports to the Sous Chef and requires at least one year in culinary or food service, the ability to stand for long periods, and flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Competitive hourly wages accompany full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of related culinary or food service experience.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 15 pounds.
• Stand and walk 6-8+ hours per shift.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

Right in the heart of State College, PA you will find the newest entertainment destination. Happy Valley Casino has taken over in The Nittany Mall, bringing the area it's first ever gaming facility! With two dining options, cocktail service, 30+ table games and over 600 slot machines, we are sure to be the number one entertainment destination in Happy Valley! We are looking for an experienced Cook to join the team at Lucky Break, our quick-service dining outlet. This position plays a key role in preparing fresh, high-quality food with speed and accuracy while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and enjoys working in a high-volume environment where teamwork and exceptional guest service are top priorities.

This position will report directly to the Sous Chef, and will be responsible for:

• Preparing food according to recipes and quality standards.
