Job summary

Over Easy is hiring a part-time dishwasher to support our busy kitchen. You will wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in the dish and prep areas, ensuring a smooth flow of service. This role is ideal for energetic individuals who enjoy teamwork and a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include keeping areas organized, stocking supplies, and assisting with general kitchen duties. Must be at least 16 and able to lift up to 50 pounds; certification preferred and benefits available after tenure.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant environment preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handlers’ certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, and miscellaneous smallware with commercial dishwasher or three compartment sinks.
• Place clean dishes or cooking equipment in designated storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work and prep areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Aid in stocking supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, refrigerators, freezers, etc.
• Sweep and scrub floors in the kitchen and dish area.
• Clean garbage, compost, and recycling bins.
• Transfer supplies between storage and workstations by hand or by using rolling carts.
