Job summary

Over Easy is looking for a friendly host/hostess to greet guests, manage seating, and maintain a welcoming dining room. You will work closely with servers to ensure smooth guest flow and timely seating, while upholding our warm, energetic culture in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are customer-service oriented, able to stand for extended periods, and capable of using an iPad-based waitlist system. Flexible, team-oriented individuals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handlers’ certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, energetic, and welcoming personality.
• Able to stand for long periods and handle a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to manage reservations, seating, and guest flow efficiently.
• Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each guest on arrival and thank them for joining Over Easy when they leave.
• Seat each guest promptly and manage the waitlist iPad system.
• If on a wait list, maintain positive, spark-brighter-days attitude.
• Answer phones and assist guests or route to the appropriate person.
• Respond to guest requests and communicate them to the server as needed.
• Assist teammates with food delivery and bussing tables.

The Position Specifics

Responsibilities

• Welcome each guest upon arrival and thank them for joining Over Easy when they leave.
• Seat each guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist iPad system.
• If on a wait keep, remember it is our job to Spark Brighter Days.
• Answer phones, be able to answer guest questions or get them to the person that can best take care of that guest needs.
• Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to Server as needed.
• Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables.
