Job summary

Saga Senior Living's Novellus Clairemont community in San Diego, CA is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to support our dining team. Earn $17.75-$18.00 per hour and help provide personalized care through clean, safe, well-presented serviceware.

You will wash and sanitize dishes, maintain the dish area, and assist kitchen and dining teams while interacting respectfully with residents. The role requires standing for long periods and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience preferred.
• Lift up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment according to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dish room, kitchen surfaces, floors, and waste areas
• Support kitchen and dining teams by ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes and serviceware
• Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures required in a senior living environment
• Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies
• Interact respectfully and professionally with senior residents and team members when in shared spaces
• Report equipment issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to leadership promptly
