Job summary

VILLA SANTA BARBARA is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our assisted living community in Santa Barbara, CA. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and cookware, while maintaining a clean and organized dish area and assisting the kitchen team during meals.

The role requires courteous interaction with residents and staff, and you will represent the community positively at all times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Attends in-service education programs as required by corporate SSL guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware in accordance with hygiene standards.
• Maintain organized dish areas and assist kitchen staff during meal service.
• Interact with residents and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Represent the community positively at all times.

Dishwasher Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for proper cleaning and handling of all utensils, pots, pans, china, glassware and silverware in dishwasher area.
• Cleans and sanitizes all tableware and cookware used in the service and preparation of meals to the guest cleans and organizes all dish areas and storage areas as necessary and as directed; handles the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas and assists the cook on the serving line during meal periods.
• Interacts with residents, families, staff and other visitors to the community in a pleasant, respectful and courteous manner.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or GED preferred
• Attends all in-service education programs mandated by Corporate SSL, State and Federal guidelines.
