Job summary

The Sicilian Butcher is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support a fast-paced scratch kitchen in San Antonio. You will help keep tools, dishes, and equipment clean and ready to go, enabling the team to deliver great guest experiences.

No prior experience is required for this role; on-the-job training is provided. Applicants must be at least 18 and comfortable working in a team-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Keep the dishwasher clean and stocked. Report any functional or mechanical problems to the Kitchen Manager.
• Monitor dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
• Clean and remove trash from designated kitchen areas.
• Organize clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen.
• Maintain proper levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.

As a Dishwasher, you keep the heartbeatof our scratch kitchen strong by making sure our team always has clean,ready-to-go tools to crush service. Fast-paced, team-driven, and essential —this is a role where your work truly matters.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Position requiresqualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly).
