The Sicilian Butcher is looking for a Host/Hostess who enjoys greeting people and being the face of the restaurant. In this role, you’ll welcome guests, manage the waitlist, and work closely with the team to keep the flow of the dining room running smoothly. If you’re friendly, organized, and comfortable, creating a positive first impression in a lively environment, this could be a great fit.
The Hostess or Host is responsible for providing a positive first and last impression to our guests. You will greet customers as they enter and exit the restaurant, take and manage reservations, control a waiting list, provide guests with menus, and show guests to their seats. You will answer phone calls and customer inquiries about the restaurant and menu.

Position requires qualified individuals to see, hear and speak (verbally and audibly). Required to ascend and descend stairs; sit and stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop and kneel. May be required to work outside in various weather conditions. May be required to work on a computer for extended periods of time, including viewing the screen, using a mouse, manipulating a keyboard with hands, and reaching with arms. May be asked to drive or travel by car, air, or other transportation for business purposes. Must be able to function effectively in a fast‑paced working environment. Must be able to report to work responsive, free from sedatives, and in a non‑sedative state. Must disclose prescribed and/or over‑the‑counter pharmaceuticals that may impair or affect the ability to perform the job's essential functions. Natural and regular stressors occur on the job.
