Delaware North Travel is hiring full-time and part-time Dishwashers to join our team at Richmond Airport in Richmond, Virginia. As a Kitchen Helper and Utility Worker, you will be responsible for carefully cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen space and equipment, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and quality dining experience for our guests. What will you do?

• Use hands or a dishwasher to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items, ensuring sanitizer levels meet health standards
• Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
• Clean work areas, including equipment, floors, walls, and the cooking area, and keep the kitchen ware storage organized
• Remove trash from the dish room, transport it to the dumpster, and clean and sanitize the garbage cans

• Ability to understand and follow directions
• Capacity to work cooperatively with others

Physical requirements

• Ability to carry up to 50 lbs, including lifting items above and below head height
• Stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift; occasionally push and pull equipment, mops, and brooms
• Work in variable temperatures and damp environments, often with hands immersed in water

Shift details

Day and evening shifts, including holidays, Monday to Friday, weekends, with 8-hour shifts.
