Job description

We are seeking an individual to work as a Dishwasher who ensures that wares for the restaurant are clean and sanitized according to health and safety guidelines.

Key Requirements/Qualifications:

• Ability to work with little supervision and focus in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to push/pull/bend/lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or meet the minimum age to work in a kitchen environment according to state/local laws.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented individual capable of maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to maintain a composed, approachable, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Wash all wares, including pots, pans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers.
• Properly place and store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in designated storage areas.
• Stock serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other areas with necessary dishes and utensils.
• Clean trash receptacles with water or steam.
• Move dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area using hand trucks.
• Assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed.
• Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
