Our Melville store is seeking a PT Dishwasher for their Kitchen team! Our Dishwasher will be responsible for washing plates, dishes, utensils, baking dishes/sheets, and all other dirty kitchen ware. The Dishwasher will also clean appliances and industrial equipment as needed, empty and clean trash receptacles, and perform other duties as assigned.

Dishwasher Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes, baking pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, serving spoons/tools by washing all items that need cleaning.
• Prepare kitchen area stations with clean cooking utensils, tools, pots, pans, bowls, plates, etc.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen.
• Remove trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other kitchen staff by assisting with various tasks as needed.
• Report kitchen accidents or violations of food safety codes and procedures.

Dishwasher Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience as a dishwasher is a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-hour shifts and lift at least 25 pounds.
• Willingness to follow all food safety procedures.
