Position: Steward/Dishwasher

Department: Food and Beverage

Salary Range: Nationally $11.40 - $13.50/hour
*Rate depends on state/market*

Reports to: Restaurant General Manager

What will you be doing most days?

• Operate and maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing machine
• Wash all china, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen, and banquet departments
• Break down boxes and empty trash containers into the dumpster
• Clean kitchen walls as appropriate
• Clean floor mats, sweep, and mop the kitchen floor daily
• Assist in cleaning ovens and refrigerators regularly
• Ensure dish machine maintains proper temperature for sanitization
• Keep floors dry and debris-free at all times
• Assist with unloading shipments, dating items, and storing them properly

What are the requirements for this position?

• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stock items on shelves above eye level
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures

Physical Requirements

This position can be physically demanding. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.

Travel Requirements

Minimal to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
