Job summary

Dial Senior Living is seeking a part-time Dishwasher in Omaha, Nebraska. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 4pm to 8pm. You will operate the dishwasher, maintain sanitation, and assist kitchen staff while ensuring residents receive friendly service.

Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old with the ability to read, write and understand English. Join a team that values hospitality, safety, and delivering meals with care to our senior residents.

Qualifications

• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.

Responsibilities

• Operate dishwasher and ensure proper sanitation of kitchenware.
• Hand wash kitchen items not suitable for the dishwasher.
• Notify manager if dish machine malfunctions or requires maintenance.
• Clean equipment, appliances, storage area, and sinks according to schedule.
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep, item restock, or delivery of clean items when needed.
• Provide customer service to residents to allow a high level of resident satisfaction.
• Bus tables during and after meals and clear tables when residents are finished eating, as requested.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe kitchen environment as required by local and state health departments.
• Perform routine preventative cleaning on dish machine according to schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Other Requirements

• Must be age 16 or older
• Ability to read, write and comprehend the English language

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
• Follow state food-handling and kitchen regulations
• Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.
• Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit down

• Some experience in food cleanup or preparation is preferred
