Job summary

Marriott Norfolk Waterside is seeking a friendly Utility Dishwasher to support busy kitchen and restaurant operations in Norfolk, VA.

You will operate commercial dishwashing equipment, sanitize dishes and cookware, and maintain clean work areas while following safety and sanitation standards.

Candidates should have 1-2 years in food and beverage preferred; high school diploma or equivalent; teamwork and reliability are valued, with opportunities to learn and grow in a hospitality team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of food & beverage experience preferred.
• Hospitality experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Carry trays weighing approximately 20 pounds
• Push and pull carts and equipment up to 100 pounds
• Stand and move throughout shifts

• Adapt to changing temperatures and noise levels
• Work indoors and outdoors as needed
