Job summary

Bright Eyed is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment. The role supports kitchen operations by ensuring sanitation standards are met and assisting with general cleaning and kitchen support duties.

The Dishwasher will uphold hygiene, restock supplies, assist with basic food preparation, and promptly report equipment or safety issues in a fast-paced environment, contributing to smooth service and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using dishwashing machines and manual cleaning methods.
• Ensure all items are properly cleaned, dried, and stored in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, walls, drains, and waste disposal areas.
• Remove trash and recycling and transport waste to designated disposal locations.
• Restock clean dishes, cookware, and utensils as needed throughout service.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries following food safety and storage guidelines.
• Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other duties as assigned.
• Follow all company policies, health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
